an early christmas celebration


because Adrienne and Gustavo were leaving the 17 th we decided to offer them a christmas celebration including opening presents!

Mar del Plata

the first week of December we went over to the coast for a simposium, besides staying at a hotel listening to numerous talks, we had some time to walk a little bit...

la primer semana de Diciembre fuimos a la costa para un simposio, además de quedarme en el hotel escuchando charlas, tuvimos algo de tiempo para caminar un poco...

the entrance at the 4th floor. Even though we were at one of the most modern cities in the world, the ambiance inside was very rustic

la entrada en el piso 4. A pesar de estar en una de las ciudades más modernas del mundo, el ambiente adentro era bien rústico.

these i remember, like grilled rice balls toped with shizo leaves, which were supposed to put inside a soup... we did not know and we started eating them like this...

de estos me acuerdo, bolas de arroz grillado con hojas de shizo (u hojas de basilic japonés), las cuales supuestamente iban dentro de una sopa... pero nosotros no sabíamos y las empezamos a comer así...

Last, but not least, we went to the Ato Z café, a a collaborative project between artist Yoshitomo Nara and design unit Graf, at the fifth floor of a building in Aoyama
.
Por último, fuimos al café AtoZ, un proyecto de colaboración entre el artitsta Yoshitomo Nara y la unidad de diseño Graf, en el quinto piso en un edificio en el barrio de Aoyama
