Two of the chairs . Some of the weekend

I know I've been lazy, but I can not tell you about the week. I am about to finish the class I am taking and that means that I am on the dead line for the presentation about "Extinctions" besides the paper I am writing which it needs to be finished by the end of the month...so yes, I am busy!.
Moreover we are honored to have the visit of one of my best friends: Tony... for whom I am saving a whole post about his stay.

Sunny Sunday, nice to have a tasteful Taboule and fresh orange juice at the terrace.

Two of the chairs, assigned to be outside, or inside for our always welcomed guests!.

So good week everyone, enjoy. I'll try to be soon, with more updates for the Thanksgiving "criollo" .

82 ºF : 30 ºC

We are already suffering summer temperatures... the mood in the people of the city is anxiety, we all want to start wearing Santa's hat and forget about work.

Semana de las Ciencias de la Tierra . Earth's Sciences Week

Every year, my school organizes a week to show prep and high school students, and general public, what the people of the laboratories do. This was the week dedicated to the Earth's Sciences. I had to be at the Paleontology Stand, trying to get people to understand how old were my beautiful plants... hard but fun.

Bleeding tree

A photo taken with my phone. By this time of the year, the goverment of the city prunes the branches of the trees of the city.

Out . of . order

We are disconnected. Since we arrived from Miami, we haven't had internet at home, so everytime I have a little bit of time to come over to my brother's house, I try to do all the things that I have under schedule...one of these GMT-3.

By now I leave you this sunset at Montes Grandes this weekend.

I hope to be back soon...

Welcome to Miami (cheesy music in the background)

Hello… and we are back… sort of, cause we are off tonight to Nico’s brother wedding at Saira (the town next to Noetinger). Ok, so it is hard to resume everything from Miami, ‘cause even though it was not a long time, as we had this long trip, it appeared to be longer than it really was… and this is a fortunate thing.

So, I know that Scott is introducing more people to this kind of a blog, so welcome! and forgive my English, sometimes I would like to have a better vocabulary to express exactly what I mean, but I try… so patience!

Well, I will tell mostly the story of the wedding, with the more respectable pictures that we could rescue so it would be more fun…

When we got there, the ceremony was already finished

so, we got to go for some drinks

and meet Scott’s friends (from left to right: Grant; Craig; Michael and Scott)

and Lauren

by the end of the hors d’ouvre the tables were already set

and the people already assigned to the tables

socializing with the “strangers” at the table… which actually they were fun! (or drunk!..or both)

and the recently landed couple from BA…

smiles, with cake and Jack Daniels shots…

and the party is getting starting…

there was time for serious talk too… (really??, no way!)

and more dancing

Michael Dan trying to contact with the english girls

Hey DJ, great music!!... loved it

we are off…

to the bar!!!... (yes, continuing..). Bride and groom at their best

it was not our fault!!, they made us drink…

… of course the bride had to be there!

…I guess I can not see anymore, what time is it?...lets go to bed!

Ok, we went to the beach too…

and the weekend was over… too soon...

So thanks to you all, It was great meeting you guys, I wish we had more time together. We would love to have you at BA!!
