At the beach there are these vendors that offer you grilled cheese, they walk around with a little container with carbon and they grill it just in front of you. It is delicious.

En la playa hay unos vendedores que ofrecen queso asado, caminan con un contenedor de brazas y asan el queso en frente tuyo. Es delicioso.

After the beach or after dinner, one of our favorite programs was to go to get ice cream at a real buffet where you can choose all you want in ice-cream and then top it with the most crazy stuff like gummy bears, melted chocolate, etc. It is selled by weight.

Luego de la playa o después de comer, uno de nuestros programas favoritos era ir a buscar helado a un verdadero buffet donde uno puede elegir todo el helado que quiera y luego ponerle las cosas más locas como gomitas, chocolate derretido, etc. En la caja lo pesan y uno paga por kilo.

La noche de los museos

Last night it was the "Night of the Museums" an event incorporated recently to the city's agenda. It is the night when all the city museums are open and free from 7.00 pm to 2.00 am.

Anoche fue la "Noche de los Museos" un evento recientemente incorporado a la agenda de la ciudad. Es la noche cuando todos los museos de la ciudad están abiertos y son gratis desde las 7.00 pm a 2.00 am.

I had to help with the exhibition of the school's Palaeontology collection, where we showed part of the material we use to work and for classes.

A mi me tocó ayudar en la muestra de parte de la colección de Paleontología de la Facultad, donde mostramos parte del material que usamos para trabajar y para las clases.

Later on, we went over to the "Casa de Yrurtia" museum, which is the house of this couple of artists filled with their original furniture and their work.

Más tarde fuimos al museo "Casa de Yrurtia", la casa de una pareja de artistas, llena de sus muebles originales y su trabajo.



Walking back home, around 1.30 am we decided to pass by the "Sarmiento Historical Museum" the house of this ancient argentinian polititian... more antiques.

Caminando de vuelta a casa, alrededor de la 1.30 de la mañana, decidimos pasar por el "Museo Histórico Sarmiento", la casa de este viejo político argentino... más antigüedades.

Scott came back from the States today and he brought me back these fancy cupcakes from the brand new Stanford's Sprinkles cupcakes shop... yummy!!
