More presents!

Scott best friend is in town for the first time!... We are very happy to have him
And I got to receive some presents from them...thank you so much!!. I just loved it.

Bodycare products completely organics in an amazing packaging. They smell SO good!, even the soap boxes contains seeds that you can soak in water for a minute and then plant them in the earth to get your own Basil or Amaranth plants... Isn't it a neat idea?!

Finally I received the print that I bought from Camilla (check out her work here). I can wait to frame it and hang it.

A Sunday at HOME

If you remember, Ashoka had given us 2 massage sessions at HOME, this hip hotel in BA. So this Sunday we went over to have the massages at the hotel's suite!. Andrea has made a deal with the owners which basically she would shoot some of the hotel and she would get the suite (private pool!!) at a lower price.
So, we had our amazing massages, and later on Ashoka and Larissa came over to have brunch, while Andrea was taking photos of us just seating and faking smiles. It was really fun.
We continued the day at the suite's pool the five of us, until it started raining...so we got inside and we watched some tv in bed (amazing beds!)... not bad for a Sunday

A french Tea

We just went to the movie theater to see Sofia Coppola's Maria Antoinette and we were craving for a tea...
so we bought some sweets and we prepared some Lune Rouge from Mariage Frères tea which was given by Adrienne a while ago... so appropriate...

I would like to present my great grandfather's "amateur" herbarium. Like me, he was a biologist as well. Even though he had a laboratory which produced beauty care products based on plants that he had cultivated, his real love was teaching, and in fact he became the principal of an important high school from Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to know him, and due to the veneration of my grandmother towards him, it is impossible to get the whole truth about him...

The great thing is that I have the honor to keep this herbarium which was kept so zealously by my grandmother until she realized that I was the next biologist in the family.

It is amazing how the plants are preserved, he was able to dry a cactus which is nearly impossible!. I invite you to see more pictures or details: here.

Following my great grandfather tradition I have been collecting plants for more than 10 years. My herbarium is more professional, It has all the requirements of a real one. I have more than 200 plants named and more waiting to be.... as soon as I have some free time!
